Two friends, both named Chris, who make things for fun
We’ve known each other for years and spent most of that time building stuff: apps, games, music, infrastructure, whatever scratches the itch.
One designs and develops websites professionally and spends his free time wrangling self-hosted infrastructure. The other makes games in Unreal Engine, falls down history rabbit holes, and is a seriously good guitar player (though he’d never admit it). Together we produce music as Project CSquared (some of which ended up in a JUICE WRLD track!).
We tried podcasting before. It didn’t survive the combo of hand-edited audio, needing to be in the same room, and life getting in the way. Years later, we’re back with better tools, a remote setup, and something to actually show for ourselves.

Meet your hosts
Two makers who’ve been building things together for years — websites, games, music, and now a rebooted podcast. Yes, we’re both named Chris. No, it’s not confusing. Okay, sometimes it’s confusing.

Chris Neal
Podcast Host
IT consultant and “web guy” by day, self-hosting enthusiast by night. Believes everyone should own their own data. Will happily change his mind if you have good sources.

Chris Volz
Podcast Host
Builds games in Unreal Engine with a focus on environments. Has zero patience for lazy game design. A seriously good guitar player, though he’d never admit it.
